Intro to Happiness:)

Hi Everyone:)

Well as you can see, this is my first post for my blog. I have been wanting to start a blog for awhile now, however, I like to believe that the timing was never right for me; until now that is:)

I am a 23 year old female, living in the Big Sky Country of Montana. I have been on my journey for inner happiness for a little over two years now. I have learned a vast amount about myself and others in that small time period.

In my first post I would like to touch on what happiness means to me. I realize that we all have different meanings for happiness. Although I do believe that at our core, we all just want to love, be loved, and enjoy life:)

I’m not going to go into depth about my theories on happiness quite yet. However, I will list a few things that bring me happiness and how I know when I’m in a total state of bliss.

Before I start, I just want everyone to know that I have had my downs. What’s funny, is that if I hadn’t experienced those those hard times, I wouldn’t be in the happy place I am right now. What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger or in my case, happier:)

I know I’m happy when I can sit all alone and feel a true sense of love within me, for myself and others. Happiness to me means staying true to myself, living for each and every moment and not getting tangled up in the past or future. It means no judgment upon others or yourself- and when you catch yourself judging, you realize it and forgive yourself and try for better next time.
For me, happiness is a work in progress everyday of my life. I want better, so I do better. I have bad days and I have good days, and I am always trying to learn more about myself and how to become a better person. We are not perfect, but if we all try to be more compassionate, loving, understanding, humble, grateful, and the list could go on, then we can create happiness for ourselves and others. As long as we are trying to be better people and to grow from our experiences, we will land on the path to happiness.

Always strive for better, listen to that inner voice within, and follow your dreams. Life is limitless. You create your life. Choose to be happy, it’s that easy, its that hard.
